TIPP Program Information
The Tax Instalment Pre-payment Plan (TIPP) allows you to prepay your annual property taxes in 10 equal monthly instalments. The prepayment cycle begins on August 1, with automatic withdrawals from your bank account on the first day of each month through to May. If needed, a final balancing payment will be withdrawn on the last business day of June to cover any remaining amount.
You can apply at any time, but new applicants are encouraged to apply by July 20 to begin prepayments for the upcoming cycle.
You will receive an email with confirmation with the date and the amount of your payments once the TIPP application is approved.
Please note the following application conditions:
You require a MyCity profile. Click here if you do not have an account.
You must provide an attachment of a “Void” Cheque or a Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) from your Financial Institution.
Your current year property taxes must be paid in full.
You are the current owner in our system. You will receive a new owner letter once we have received your name change.
